Highlights

Designed, planned and implemented an innovative project that has advanced US food industry operations and energy efficiencies in material handling. The project was profiled in Food Engineering magazine and has become a standard for a spectrum of US manufacturing industry segments ranging from consumer packaged goods (CPG) industries to non-CPG industries such as defense, automotive, aerospace and other industry segments.

Led operations, supply chain, procurement process and project initiative that delivered 8-30% average cost reductions across diverse operating functions including manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics. Responsiblity for direct and indirect materials, services and technologies annual budget responsibility of $250 million.

Planned, designed and implemented a transportation organization initiative focused on transportation management, projects and supporting staff developmment The initiative was applicable to 40 Class 8 diesel trucks and supporting transportation lifecycle asset management for both short-haul (<200 mile radius) and long-haul across the western United States. Planned and implemented a diesel fuel cost savings initiative with a resulting marked-to-market cost savings achievement of approximately 20%.
